On the contrary. It's the Fliz! The Fliz may be reminiscent of the pre-historic past, but in actuality it is a new concept bike of the future. It is currently still in the prototype phase but it is scheduled for immediate mass-production.
Designed in Germany as a means of alternative urban transportation. The Fliz is like a cross between a bicycle and a scooter and has no seat or pedals. The rider is strapped into the frame, which arches over the top of the rider, as opposed to underneath them like a traditional bike.
The rider is in essence "cycling running". And because the rider is attached to the frame by a harnass, they can still pick up their feet and coast like a traditional cyclist would. There will even be foot rests attached to the back forks so that the rider can rest his feet while coasting and/or going down hills.
So strap yourself in and get ready for the ride.... uh... run of your life!
